Short Description
The site represents one of the first ever systematically excavated pile dwelling settlements on Ljubljanskobarje marsh. It was first excavated in 1875 by Dežman, and it plays an important role in theresearchhistoryof lacustrine pile-dwellingsoftheregion. The dwellings are located in the boggy meadows, uninhabitedcropfields, and on the bank and the shallow water zone of the river Iščica.
